Gardening Project

We will be developing an area at the back of the building for a gardening project. The children will be encouraged to learn how care for a plant and will be able to tell what it needs to grow. The staff will role model maintenance of the environment e.g. watering, weeding etc.

This project is being led by Margaret and Collette who are really keen to get it underway. We have a team of volunteers coming in from the Nat West band to help prepare the area ready for the children in September.

If you have any plants or gardening equipment that you would like to donate please let us know. We are also looking for planters, sleepers and soil. It will mainly be the preschool children that are doing the work but the other children will be involved in one way or another.
