Badgers Family Workshop

On the 13th February, Badgers room will be holding a family workshop from 9.30am – 10.00am. All of our Badgers families are invited, no matter what sessions your child attends, everyone is welcome. There is going to be lots of fun activities that everyone can join in, there will be card making, decorating hearts, icing biscuits as well as play dough and messy play. New Way To View Learning Journals

Tapestry System In September we will start using a system called Tapestry to record your child’s progress in the nursery. Learning journals are a way to capture that special moment in the setting and keep you the parent/carer involved in your child’s learning. Gardening Project

Building A Garden We will be developing an area at the back of the building for a gardening project. The children will be encouraged to learn how care for a plant and will be able to tell what it needs to grow. The staff will role model maintenance of the environment e.g. watering, weeding etc. This project is being led by Margaret and Collette who are really keen to get it underway. End Of Term

The children are getting very excited about the end of term especially the ones that are leaving to go to school. The leaver’s party will be held on the 21st July 11am-1pm and the graduation photographs will handed out on the day.
